Abraham “Abe” Aaron Taylor, 51, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Abe was born April 1, 1972, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Dennis and Carolyn Taylor. He moved to Idaho Falls six years ago after living the majority of his life in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated from Grant High School in 1990. He worked with his father in the asphalt business before building his own business, Taylor’d Painting and AMR.
He is survived by his three children, Caleb Taz, Keely Lynne, Braxton Fox, and their mother, Lori Parr; mother, Carolyn; brothers, Kelly, Kane, Byron, and Dennis II; and sisters, Kaylynn Matteson, Natalie Madland, Brittney Anderson, and Sierra Bauer.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis; sister, Shonnie; and niece, Sedona Matteson.
Abe liked to live his life taking chances and finding humor in the craziness of living it.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. March 2, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 3233 Northeast 162nd Avenue in Portland, Oregon. Interment will be at Old Scotch Cemetery in Hillsboro, Oregon, following church services.
