Obituary
Adele Wilson, 87, formerly of St. Paul, passed away on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, in Wilsonville, OR. Adele, the 2nd of 5 daughters and 5th of 10 children born to Henry and Adele Schaffeld, yas born in Arapaho, OK, and was raised on a farm at Jamison, near Vale, OR. She graduated from Vale High School in 1952, and married her husband, Robert (Red) Wilson, later that year on Nov. 4, 1952. Adele and Red lived in the Nyssa, OR area until 1967, when the family moved to St. Paul, OR. She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church.
Adele and Red raised seven wonderful children. She is survived by Tracy (Jim) Berndt, Phoenix, AZ; David (Mary), St. Paul; Tony (Gail), Phoenix, AZ; Ken (Maddy), St. Paul; Kirk (Victoria), North Bend; Brian, Aurora; and Marcia (Jerry) Schaecher, Wilsonville. Adele was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, and is also survived by sisters, Mary Wilson, Homedale, ID; Gert DeLong, Vale, OR; Frances Walsh, Great Falls, MT; Aggie (Ron)
Thompson, Auburn, CA, and brother Paul (Joan) Schaffeld, Boise, ID.
Adele was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, a son, Philip, her parents, and her brothers Ted, Pete, John, and Joe, who passed away 14 hours before Adele.
Catholic mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 3pm at the St. Paul Catholic Church, followed by graveside services at the St. Paul Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow.
