Obituary

Eusebio "Chevo" Bermea, Sr., 62, passed away on April 22, 2021 at his home in Salem. Chevo was born on December 16, 1958 to Anestacio and Julia (Flores) Bermea in Pleasanton, Texas. He spent his childhood years in Charlotte, Texas before moving to St. Paul,

Oregon with his parents and 3 siblings in 1970.

Graduating from St. Paul High School, he spent the following years working in the town of St. Paul, most recently for Marion Ag Service (19 years). Chevo enjoyed watching college football, the Dallas Cowboys, loved anything to do with cars/trucks/motorcycles; but mainly just being Grandpa Chevo and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anestacio and Julia Bermea, brother Jesus Bermea; sister Leticia Anaya, and daughter Carolina Bermea. Chevo is survived by his siblings, Janie and Mario, his wife Elizabeth (Betty); children Gabriel, Mary Jane, Raquel and Eusebio Jr.; grandchildren Jesse, Stevie, Haleigh, Kristeanna, Adrian, Kaedence, Isaiah, Kalleigh, Maria, King, Cesar, Kamryn and Khaleesi; in addition to many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, May 17 from 5-8 PM and Tuesday, May 18 from 5-8 PM at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 19 at 11 AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in St. Paul, Oregon. Burial will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Assisting the family is Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
