Mary Ellen Wolf
St. Paul - Mary Ellen Wolf was born October 14,1936 in Woodburn, Oregon and passed away on Sept. 17, 2022 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She spent her last days at home surrounded by her family.
She was born to Robert and Martha Coleman, graduated from St. Paul High School in 1954 and lived her entire life in St. Paul. On October 26, 1957, she married her friend and Mahony Road neighbor Philip Wolf. Together they raised their family and ran their farm, PM Ranch, until their retirement.
Mary Ellen's faith was very strong and she was a true believer that it is better to give than to receive. She volunteered extensively with the St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul Parochial School and many other events in the St. Paul community.
Family was very important to Mary Ellen. She rarely missed school or sports events for her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and friends for special occasions and in times of need.
Mary Ellen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Phil, and their children, Jim (Theresa) Wolf, Vince (Shelly) Wolf, Lynn (Gene) Hyde, Chris (Shawn) Miller and Ken (Tori) Wolf.
She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and another on the way. She leaves behind her siblings John Coleman, Kathleen Macken, Jane Wavra and Bill Coleman. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jean Fessler, brothers Bobby and James Coleman and daughter Ann McKay.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00am preceded by a rosary at 10:30, both at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul, Oregon.
