Louis “Buster” Ralph Malensky Jr., 87, a resident of the Hillsboro community passed away on November 16, 2024 at The Springs at Tanasbourne.
Buster was born on October 4, 1937, in Hillsboro, OR. He was the second of six children born to Louis Sr. and Mary (Lazuck) Malensky. He graduated with the last class at Columbia Preparatoy High School (Jesuit High School) with the Class of 1955.
After high school, Buster joined the United States Army and served for three years before attending Portland State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Buster got his CPA license and worked for a year and a half before going back to work on the family farm.
Buster met his future wife, Madonna Buelt, while at a dance in Verboort, in 1959. After a short courtship, they were married on August 20, 1960 and made their home together South of Hillsboro. In 2006, Buster and Donna sold the farm and then moved to Hawaii in 2008. There, Buster enjoyed playing tennis for many hours, every day, golfing twice a week, taking his boat out for deep sea fishing and playing cards. Buster and Donna moved back to Hillsboro in 2018.
He is preceded by his parents; Louis Sr. and Mary and two sisters; Mary Agnes McCollough and Debra Goodwin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, his siblings; Roy Malensky of Hillsboro, Joel Malensky of Idaho, Kathleen Mooberry of Redmond and many nieces and nephews.
