Darlene S. Seus, 91, a resident of the Forest Grove community, died Tuesday morning, August 6, 2019, at Jennings McCall II in Forest Grove.

DARLENE SILVIA SEUS was born October 11, 1927 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of the late Edward Podrasky and Silvia (Chehak) Podrasky. She was raised and received her early education in Cove Orchard, Oregon, until moving with her family to Portland, Oregon, where she completed her education. They then returned to Portland, where she completed her education, having been a graduate of Madeline Parochial High School Class of 1945. Following her high school graduation, she attended Marylhurst University, having received a bachelor’s degree in education. Darlene had taught school at the St. Stephen Parochial School in Portland, for several years.

She was united in marriage to Bernard “Bernie” Seus on April 15, 1950 in the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Portland. Following their marriage, they made their home on the Seus family farm in Hillsboro. They remained in the Washington County area, until moving to the Jennings McCall Retirement Community in 2013, where she had resided since.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie, on April 30, 2014 in Forest Grove, after celebrating over sixty-four years of marriage together.
