WE REMEMBER KLEM STUTZER
Klem was born in Kussnacht, Switzerland on April 23, 1900, and died July 12, 1984 at Tuality Community Hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon at the age of 84. Klem was the child of Joseph and Anna Faessler Stutzer. Klem Stutzer was married at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Gresham, Oregon on November 10, 1928 to Anna M. Nussbaumer Stutzer.
Klem was raised and received his early education in Kussnacht, Switzerland. He came to Canada in 1924 and moved on to the United States in 1925. He came to Vancouver Washington in 1933, to Sauvie Island in 1948 and on to Cornelius in 1955. He had always been a dairy farmer. He retired and sold the farm in 1960. He was a member of St. Alexander's Roman Catholic Church in Cornelius, Oregon. Klem was predeceased by a son Clemmy Stutzer, brothers, Joseph and Gottlieb Stutzer and a sister Anna Knusel.
Surviving are the following; his wife Anna M. Stutzer of Cornelius, Oregon by a son Roy Stutzer of Klamath Falls, Oregon by a son Alvin Stutzer of Portland, Oregon by a daughter Lorraine Vanoudenhaegen of Cornelius, Oregon by a daughter Arlene Peters of Forest Grove, Oregon by a son Joseph Stutzer of Sweet Home, Oregon, by a sister Sophie Knusel of Switzerland by a sister Marie Waibel of Switzerland by a sister Josephine Schoepfer of Olympia, Washington and by 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Following the graveside service the family invites the friends to join them for a luncheon at the Forester's Hall in Verboort.
