Mt. Angel - Clara Marie Buyserie, 88, passed away in Mt. Angel.

Clara was born on January 15, 1928, to Bernard and Margaret (Schaecher)

Baune in Woodburn where she was raised. She was one of eight children.

She later married Donald Joseph Buyserie on November 25, 1950, and together had four children. They farmed and lived in St. Paul for 60 years.

Don and Clara moved to the Mt. Angel Towers for four years; later moving to the Benedictine Orchard House in Mt. Angel.

Clara is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald; children: Linda (Jim) Noe of Carpinteria, CA, Doug (Margaret) Buyserie of St. Paul, JoAnn (Dan) Keeley, of St. Paul and Calvin (Lisa) Buyserie of Aloha; siblings: Dorothy Riley of Hillsboro, Hilda Hopfer of Hopewell and Walt Baune of Portland;

16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Mass will be at 10:30am, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul with reception to follow. Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in St. Paul. Donation in remembrance of Clara may be made to the Providence Benedictine Nursing Center Foundation (Humphreys Scholarship Fund, c/o Providence Benedictine Nursing Center Foundation,
