Dolorez ("Dee') P. Villarreal
March 30, 1943 - October 20, 2016
Dolorez passed away Thursday Oct 20 at Salem Hospital with her husband and family at her side. Dee was born in Ontario, Oregon and moved with her family to the Mt. Angel area in her early 20's.
Bom to Cecilio and Maria Rodriguez she was the second oldest of 13 children.
Her youngest daughter, Veronica, preceded her in death in 2013.
Those left behind are her devoted and loving husband of almost 49 years juan L. Villareal; son juan G. Villarea (wife Erin); daughter Sara Reynolds (husband David); and daughter Margaret LeBlanc (husband Gilbert). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Blessed with a bottomless wellspring of love and affection for her family and friends, Dolorez rarely was found in a bad mood and will be remembered for her quick and loud laughter. That laughter and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.
Dee spent her working years employed at Oregon Dept of Veterans Affairs and Oregon Housing and Community Services, retiring in 1998 and lived in Salem since. Dee was always athletic whether it be white water afting, or being an excellent bowler and volleyball player. She never shied away from a new adventure and above all, she loved to dance.
As she progressed through the years, Dee developed a love of sking and cycling, spending countess hours training for the Seattle to Portland bike ride (the "ST in which she participated for 5 or 6 years.
So, Rest in Peace lovely lady, we love you and will never forget you.
