Rene’ was born in Portland On January 31, 1970, middle of four children. 
She attended both high schools; St Mary’s of the Valley, then Central Catholic and Graduated in 1988. She received a degree in Associate of Arts from Portland Community College in 2001. 
She shared a very full life with Carrie Bales for the past 14 years as partners and the two were married in 2004. 
She loved to travel. Carrie took her to Las Vegas to celebrate her 30th and 38th birthdays 
Rene’ had a strong interest in sports. She lettered in Volleyball, Softball and her favorite sport, basketball during school and loved to play golf. 
Her career included working for Intel, Integra Telecom, and Hollywood entertainment. She enjoyed meeting new employees and interacting with co-workers. 
Rene’ was diagnosed in 2004 with Glioma; an incurable growing brain cancer. 
After an 8 year struggle with a brain tumor, On November 23, 2011 Rene’ passed away at her home with her wife and two daughters at her bedside. 
She is survived by her wife Carrie Bales, daughters, Sharon and Samantha Bales, Parents Marvin Delplanche of Aloha and Patricia Delplanche of Cornelius, OR, Siblings and their spouses; Curtis and Jacqueline Delplanche of Aloha, OR. Remy and Sally Delplanche of Aloha, OR, Michelle and Teshi Sherpa of Sunnyvale, Ca and many nieces and nephews. 
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Vitiation Catholic Church; 4285 NW Visitation Rd in Verboort. 
Rite of Christian Burial will follow the Mass to be held at the Visitation Cemetery.
