Jeannette G. Beachler (Meeuwsen), 89, a lifelong resident of Forest Grove died Friday morning January 19, 2018 at her home.

Jeannette was born in Roy Oregon Oct. 15, 1928. At a few months old she moved to Forest Grove and attended Forest Gove High School. She married Guy F. Beachler in 1971 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Forest Grove. Jeannette worked as the office manager for the City of Forest Grove for over 35 years.

Jeannette was very active with St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She loved to garden, travel and scrapbook. She touched many lives with her smile, endearing personality and generosity. She spent many hours volunteering and sponsored several charities.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Theresa Meeuwsen, sister Eileen Vanderzanden, and brother Irvin Meeuwsen.

Survivors include her husband Guy Beachler, sister Bernice Kubitz, brothers Carl and Larry Meeuwsen; and 20 nieces and nephews.
