Donald (Don) David Kemper

October 18, 1949 - June 26, 2024

Don Kemper grew up on the family farm in the Verboort community. Even as a young person, Don had a deep passion for all of the out-doors. As well as helping work the farm, he played baseball and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In high school he played football.

Throughout Don’s life, he also found fulfillment in driving tractor, gardening and repairing farm equipment. For Washington County, he worked as a heavy equipment driver.  

He served in the Oregon National Guard as a medic from 1969 to 1974. Along with his love for the outdoors in any season, Don cherished the company of a good dog.

Don Kemper was preceded in death by his parents, Click and Blanche Kemper, and his favorite dog, Rosey.

Survivors include Don’s wife, Debbie Kemper, Don’s three children and their spouses; Leah and Aeron Braukman, Joe Don and Nicole Kemper, Paul and Sara Kemper. Other survivors include Don’s two siblings and their spouses; Jim and Laurie Kemper, Shelly and Bill Anonsen. Survivors also include seven grandchildren
