Frances 'SIS' Giesbers (Campbell)
Obituary
Frances, also known as ‘Sis’ to her family, was born Frances K. Campbell in Baylor County Texas. She is one of 13 children born to Matt Campbell and Martha, ne´e Dormier. Frances is preceded in death by her husband Anthony A. Giesbers of Forest Grove.
When she was a young girl, her parents decided to leave Texas and migrated to Oregon. To support the family in Oregon, the entire Campbell family worked on farms harvesting various agricultural fields.
In 1984, Frances was introduced to Anthony “Tony” Giesbers. It was an instant match and they were married in August of 1984. Over the years, Sis became a grandmother of 8 grandkids whom she loved very much. You could tell how much she loved her grandchildren by the sheer number of photos displayed around the house.
Sis and Tony spent time fishing, golfing, and had yearly trips to Arizona in the winter with family and friends. Sis loved working in the garden and always made sure beautiful flowers surrounded the home. One of the greatest gifts you could give her were flowers. Sis loved cooking for her family and she always made sure you had enough food at the table! Both Sis and Tony were members of the Forest Grove Elks and enjoyed many evenings together there with friends and family.
Surviving are her Sister, Mabel Sustaita of San Antonio TX; three step children, Mitch Giesbers of Vancouver, Washington, James Giesbers of Kirkland, Washington and Jacyn Gallagher of Weiser, Idaho; eight grandchildren, Nolan, Chelsea, Manning, Teague, Michael, Lexi, Elijah, and McKayla; and six great grandchildren.
