David Lewis Nollette, age 72, of Mitwaukie, Oregon, passed away on Monday February 24, 2020. David was born January 23, 1948 in Seattle, Washington to Lewis and Catherine Nollette.

David graduated from Central Catholic High School and majored in Chinese History at University of Seattle. Later being the first male student at Marylhurst, he earned a Bachelors in eusiness, and Masters at universiy of Portand.

David was a Facilies Manager, through-out his career he worked for the Park Rose School District, Portand Public Schools and Intel.

After retiring, he enjoyed writing and wrote two books.

David was full of contagious curiosity, generous, kind, helpful and adventurous. He was a true renalssance man and loved restoring his 100 year old houses, after work he would come home to spend time with his family and work on the house. The arts were a passion of David's, he delighted in playing the guitar and singing, enjoyed theater and plays.

On September 6, 1975, David married Felicia Tovar at St. Charles Church in Portland.

He was a thoughtful family man, planner and volunteered extensively in the community. Religion was monumental in David's life, he was surrounded by many longtime friends in the clergy.

David is survived by his wife of 44 years, Felicia Tovar-Nollette; brother, Dennis Nollette; children, Stewart, Trevor and Elyce; grandchildren, Katherine, Alexis, Isabelle and Charlotte.

A Rosary with Funeral Mass will be held for David on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 12p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie.

Nollette, Catherine 96 May 22, 1920 Aug. 18, 2016 Catherine (Petrusich) Nollette died in Portland August 18, 2016 at the age of 96. She was born May 22, 1920, in Roseburg, to Robert and Gertrude Petrusich. After moving to Portland, Catherine attended grade school and high school at the Madeleine and obtained a BA in music from Marylhurst College, where she excelled in the cello and piano, which she enjoyed throughout her life.

She moved to Seattle, where she met her husband Lewis (who died in 2002). They married in 1946 and had two sons, David and Dennis. During her life she moved between Seattle and the Portland area, working as a homemaker and as an assistant in various

office settings, and playing organ at the church. Her last full-time job was helping run the office for a group of cardiologists at the University of Washington. She enjoyed dancing and was a devoted pinochie player. In retirement, she was an avid volunteer with several organizations, working at them until she was 92. She is survived by her sons; three grandchildren, Stewart, Trevor, and Elyce Nollette; four great-grand children; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to her favorite charities; Volunteer Services at Catholic Charities, Vancouver, where she was a driver; Albertina Kerr, where she worked in the shop; the Japanese Garden, where she was a docent; and the Portland'5 Center, where she ushered. Funeral at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 at Holy Rosary Church, 375 Northeast Clackamas St., Portland.

Julia Ann Nollette \"Julie\" age 81 died on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, in the presence of her family and friends following months of illness. She was born on July 22, 1941, to parents Daniel Roy Herrin and Marcella Anna Johnson Herrin in St. Paul, Minnesota. She had a sister and two brothers.

She graduated from St. Mark's grade school and Our Lady of Peace high school in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended college at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On July 28, 1962, she married LeRoy Nollette, and they were married for 60 years. They had three daughters: Linda Marie Nollette Smith (Robert), Monica Ann Nollette Wolfe and Mia Renee' Nollette Watson (Larry). They have 5 grandchildren: Julie Stevenson Olson (Tim), Ryan Stevenson (Kaitlyn), Jacob \"Jake\" Wolfe, Sara Wolfe, and Marcella Kay. They have 4 great-grandchildren: Joshua Olson, Jayden Olson, Korraline Stevenson and Madelyn Stevenson.

Julie was a member of the Discalced Carmelites for many years. She was an avid reader of murder mysteries. She loved watching television (Cooking shows, Fox News, and the Hallmark channel). She loved her family, especially doing things with her grandchildren.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ellen Schnepper, brother Charles and 2 infants. She is survived by her husband, her brother Daniel Herrin (Becky), her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.

Catholic Funeral Mass will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 20217 Christie Street, Saint Paul, OR 97137 at 11:00am preceded by the rosary at 10:30am. Interment will be at Saint Paul Catholic Cemetery, 4419 Church Ave. NE, Saint Paul, Oregon 97137. In lieu of flowers, donation in Julie's name to Diabetic Research Institute.
