Julia Ann Nollette "Julie" age 81 died on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, in the presence of her family and friends following months of illness. She was born on July 22, 1941, to parents Daniel Roy Herrin and Marcella Anna Johnson Herrin in St. Paul, Minnesota. She had a sister and two brothers.
She graduated from St. Mark's grade school and Our Lady of Peace high school in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended college at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
On July 28, 1962, she married LeRoy Nollette, and they were married for 60 years. They had three daughters: Linda Marie Nollette Smith (Robert), Monica Ann Nollette Wolfe and Mia Renee' Nollette Watson (Larry). They have 5 grandchildren: Julie Stevenson Olson (Tim), Ryan Stevenson (Kaitlyn), Jacob "Jake" Wolfe, Sara Wolfe, and Marcella Kay. They have 4 great-grandchildren: Joshua Olson, Jayden Olson, Korraline Stevenson and Madelyn Stevenson.
Julie was a member of the Discalced Carmelites for many years. She was an avid reader of murder mysteries. She loved watching television (Cooking shows, Fox News, and the Hallmark channel). She loved her family, especially doing things with her grandchildren.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ellen Schnepper, brother Charles and 2 infants. She is survived by her husband, her brother Daniel Herrin (Becky), her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.
Catholic Funeral Mass will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 20217 Christie Street, Saint Paul, OR 97137 at 11:00am preceded by the rosary at 10:30am. Interment will be at Saint Paul Catholic Cemetery, 4419 Church Ave. NE, Saint Paul, Oregon 97137. In lieu of flowers, donation in Julie's name to Diabetic Research Institute.
