She soon after left the workforce to become a full time homemaker and mother to her four children in Newberg.

She and her husband raised horses, yellow labradors, farmed hazelnuts and enjoyed life on their farm. She was an avid gardener. You could find her daily working in her yard and sharing gardening advice to friends, family and neighbors. She also was an animal lover, but her greatest joy came from her 8 grandchildren.
