Mass of the Resurrection for Christopher Herinckx, 7, of Hillsboro was Saturday, March 6, 1976 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church with the Revs Robert Cieskinski and James Crunican, pastors officiating.  Recitation of the Rosary was Friday at the Church.  Interment was originally at Vally Memorial Park with arrangements by Donalson, Sewell & Mathews Mortuary.  Christopher's remains were moved to Visiation Cemetery in Verboort on Monday, July 22, 2024 by Duyck Vandehey Funeral Home.

The child died March 2, 1976 in Washington D.C,

He was born July 18, 1968 in Hillsboro, the son of Richard and Theresa Herinckx and lived his lifetime here.  He was a member of St. Matthew's and attended second grade at St. Matthews School.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richerd F. Herinckx and two brothers, John and Timothy, all of Hillsboro, and by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J Herinckx of Forest Grove and Madeline Porter of Falmouth, VA.

The family suggests that any memorials be made to Children's Hospital of D.C., Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, in care of Donelson, Sewell & Matthews.
