William Kemper, services Saturday FOREST GROVE-William T. Kemper, 86, Forest Grove, died Aug. 9, 1995, at Bess Kaiser Hospital in Portland of causes related to age. A Mass will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Verboort. Interment will follow in Visi tation : Cemetery in Verboort. Mr. Kemper was born KEMPER April 30, 1909, in Yamhill, a son of Joseph and Anna Kemper. On Oct. 6, 1931, he married Dorothy Vandervelden in Verboort. They observed their 63rd wedding anniversary last year. Mr. Kemper worked for B.P. John in the wood industry. He was a life-long member of Visitation Parish and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Forest Grove Elks Lodge, Hillsboro Moose Lodge and Washington County American Association of Retired Persons, where he was tour director for 10 years. Mr. Kemper was involved in playing and coaching baseball all his life. He enjoyed dancing and had danced weekly until the last few years. He also bowled in leagues in Hillsboro and Forest Grove. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Kemper, Forest Grove; four daughters and three sonsin-law, Charlene, Jean and Robert Lepschat, Banks, Sharon and Denis Giesbers, Forest Grove, and Carolyn and Charles Chapman, Yelm, Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Kemper-Riddock, Banks; a sonin-law, Anthony Giesbers, Forest Grove; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Jesse, Hillsboro; and a brother, Gerald Kemper, Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Giesbers, and a son, Nolan Kemper. "" The family suggests memorial contributions to the Oregon Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4370 NE Halsey, Portland.
