Obituary

Linda Lee Spiesschaeert was born on January 9, 1942 in Salem, Oregon.  She was the first chiled of Pat and Norma (Heilein) Miklia.  Linda Passed away on January 2, 2021 in Eugene, Oregon.

She was raised in Salem, Oregon and graduated from North Salem High School.  Linda attended Merit Davis School of Business to become a legal secretary.  Linda was passoniate about horses and was an avid rider.  In fact, she met her future husband Darrel Spiesschaert while riding horses at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.  She married Darrel March 9, 1968 at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is Salem, Oregon.  Soon after her wedding son Leo arrived followed by her daughter Lori.  Her family and faith was the love of her life.  She spent every apare moment with them, designing costumres for Holidays and helpint her children with their fair projects.

Lindas was creative in many ways and was a renowned minature horse artist and made tack and costumes for scores of equistrian riders.  She loved anything ancint Egypt and enjoyed drawing landscapes and of course horses.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and by her loving husband Darrel in 2019. 

She is survived by her son Leon (Krisa) Spiesschaert ,daughter Lori Spiesschaert. and grandhildren Tylers Spiesschaert and Tyson Spiesschaert.  She is also survived by her brother Robert Miklia and her nieces and nephews.
