Obituary

Rosella Mary Lepschat, 65, Forest Grove, died Oct. 28, 1995, at Tuality Community Hospital in Hillsboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church in Verboort, with the Rev. Joseph Heuberger as celebrant.
Interment LEPSCHAT will be in Visitation Cemetery in Verboort.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be today at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Lepschat was born June 15, 1930, in Portland, a daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Hillecke Kemper. She lived in the Verboort area most of her life and attended Visitation Grade School and graduated from Visitation High School in 1948.
On Feb. 5, 1955, she married Walter J. Lepschat in Verboort. They lived in Tillamook until returning to Verboort in 1963.
Mrs. Lepschat was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the slot machines in Reno, digging for razor clams, flower gardening, fishing for salmon and halibut in Alaska, cooking and baking.
She was a life-time member of Visitation Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Foresters.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Lepschat, Forest Grove; sons and daughters-inlaw, Norman and Janell Lepschat, Cube Cove, Alaska, Steven and Donna Lepschat, Gaston, William and Connie Lepschat, Roy, and David Lepschat, Forest Grove; and daughters and sons-in-law, Nichola and Blayde Fry, Olympia, Wash., Sandra and John Brett, Hillsboro, Kathryn and Mohammed Abouelheiga, Kirkland, Wash,, Linda and Ken Keith, Enumclaw, Wash., Kimberly Lepschat, Beaverton, and Janet Lepschat, Forest Grove.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; sisters and brothersin-law, Elizabeth and Harold Meeuwsen, Forest Grove, and Barbara and Jerome Rush, Beaverton; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Mathew and Lori Kemper, Gales Creek, and George and Julie Kemper, Forest Grove.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Lepschat, in 1980, and a brother, Francis Kemper.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Visitation School Endowment Fund.
Forest Grove Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
