Jenniffer “Jenny” La Vern Evers, 48, a resident of the Hillsboro community passed away on February 5, 2024 at her home.

Jenny was born on July 26, 1975 in Salem, OR. She was the only child born to Albert Anguiano and Sandra “Sandy” Evers. Jenny with her older brother, Jerome and her mother moved to Forest Grove when she was five, she attended Forest Grove High School having graduated with the Class of 1994. While in school Jenny was very active in swimming, softball, drama, choir and soccer.

Jenny had a lot of different jobs throughout her life, most notable was when she was working at Intel and at Nike. She loved her trips to the beach, she would spend hours beach combing, listening to the ocean and people watching. She played frisbee golf, participated in the Oregon Summer Games Olympics as a swimmer. She was an excellent cook enjoyed family gathering and was the favorite aunt to her nieces and nephew. Jenny was a thoughtful, caring and loving person, she had a beautiful smile and opened her heart up to anyone, she will be missed by all. She leaves behind her beloved cats, Gizmo and Lady Bug

She is survived by her parents Sandy Evers and her companion, Kenny Wright, a brother, Jerome Evers of Tualatin, OR, Uncle Karl Evers and his companion Kathy Robinson both of Forest Grove,  Aunt Grace Reynolds and her companion Gary Kirk both of Milwaukie, two nieces and one nephew, Tianna, Jamir, Emma and four cousins, Joe, Micheal, Joshua and Sarah.

Graveside Services were held on Saturday, June 22. 2024.
